The short version
This site sets no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no third-party cookies unless you allow them. Nothing beyond what is strictly necessary loads at all until you choose it. That means we do not load it and then delete it afterwards; we do not load it in the first place.
What is on by default
One thing only. When you make a cookie choice, we store that choice on your own device so we do not have to ask you again on every page. It contains your preferences and the date you made them, nothing else, and it is not sent to anyone.
What is switched off until you say otherwise
- Functional. Content we embed from other companies. Today that is the Google map on our coverage page. Google sets its own cookies when that map loads, so we do not load it until you allow it. Until then you see a placeholder with a button on it, and you can load the map from there.
- Analytics. Tools that tell us which pages are useful and which are not. Not currently in use on this site. If we ever add them, they will stay switched off unless you allow them.
- Marketing. Advertising tags that measure whether an ad led to an enquiry. Not currently in use on this site. If we ever add them, they will stay switched off unless you allow them.
Fonts and other requests
The typeface used on this site is served from our own server rather than from a third party, so viewing these pages does not disclose your visit to anyone else.
Changing your mind
Use the cookie button in the bottom-left corner of any page. You can switch any category on or off at any time. If you switch something off, the page reloads so that anything already loaded is cleared.

Cookies set by others
Only if you allow functional cookies, and only on the page with the map: Google sets cookies through the Google Maps embed. Those cookies are Google’s, not ours, and they are governed by Google’s privacy policy.
